Succession Planning: Practicing What We Preach (Pt. 3)

The Future—

Although the Talent Assessment & Development family misses Jim Lyonfields dearly, we are pleased to announce he is making the most of his retirement. He enjoys the opportunity it has given to spend more quality time with his wife, Shawna, and their children. Jim has also become increasingly involved in his local community, investing time and energy into philanthropic efforts ranging from environmental sustainability causes to socioracial movements. He volunteers with the Red Cross and is currently growing out his hair, something he has wanted to do for years, in order to make a donation to Locks of Love.

Jim will always be an important part of the TAD family and we are committed to honoring his legacy. Our goal for the coming years is to continue to grow so that more companies can be assisted by our experience and expertise. To that end, we will be releasing major product enhancements in the near future, which will improve the employee development and candidate selection process for our clients.

TAD is not only continually aiming to strengthen the management efforts of our clients, but we are also currently working toward our own improvements. To accommodate for our 50% growth in the past two years, we have made and will continue to make alterations to our business infrastructure. In Jim’s absence, Shawna continues to focus on her role as CEO, leading our talented team of psychologists and working on her personal and professional development goals. She is proud of TAD’s recent accomplishments and is excited to see what the upcoming years have in store for the company.

Talent Assessment & Development has seen its share of change recently, but with those changes has come growth. As a result of our own successful succession planning, we have retained 100% of our 200+ clients, and we have been able to thrive even after the retirement of one of our cofounders. It is our desire to see a similar success for other companies. To learn more about how we can help with your succession planning process, call us today at (314) 485-1390.
